Printed Circuits Corp. (Lilburn, GA) needs Process Engineer:

Process Development and Optimization:

Develop, implement, and optimize production methodologies in the PCB assembly, box build, and wire harness manufacturing processes. Design and improve manufacturing processes to meet product specifications and standards. Implement new process equipment and methods, ensuring efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes.

 

New Product Development:

Participate in new product development from design to production, contributing to design for manufacturability. Evaluate new product requirements for potential manufacturing impacts.

 

PCB Design and Layout:

Develop and modify PCB designs and layouts using CAD tools, adhering to industry and company standards. Work closely with design engineers to ensure design manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. Review and validate PCB designs before mass production.

 

Reverse Engineering:

Utilize reverse engineering techniques to dissect and understand competitor’s products or to reproduce obsolete parts. Document observations and findings, and make recommendations for design improvements or cost reductions.

 

Rework/Repair:

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PCB assemblies, box builds, and cable/wire harness assemblies. Design and implement procedures for rework or repair to ensure quality control and minimal downtime.

 

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to ensure that the products meet quality standards and compliance requirements. Participate in internal audits of manufacturing processes.

 

Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions as necessary

Project Management:

Manage technical projects related to manufacturing process improvements or new product introductions. Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

 

Communication and Collaboration:

Collaborate with other team members, including technicians, design engineers, and management to ensure smooth operations. Communicate process changes or issues to relevant teams. Provide technical support to manufacturing staff as needed.

 

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related. 5 years of

experience in scripting and programming language such as C, C++, JAVA, Asp.net, Php.net and SMT & TH processes and as a Technical Engineer, Computer Repair Technician or related.
